This is not a beginners task, I assume you have a reasonable set of tools and mechanical skills.
I am keen amature, this took me 1/2 a day and caused several minor injuries to my hands.
Remove everything which obstructs the removal of the pump (air box, belts, covers, etc).
Access is a problem
You may also need to remove the pulley (jam it and undo screws).
You may need to nudge the engine aside at some point, a friend with a long piece of wood will do.
Take the old pump to the local parts store as there are two types of pump available. It will cost around £40.
Clean engine surface and maybe use instant gasket before replacing pump.
