Mend Audi 80 Open Locking Reg

can i over-ride my immobaliser Audi 80?

my fob wont open my central locking on my L reg Audi 80, changed the batteries and it does connect with the car(makes the sound). if i open it using my key the alarm sounds and wont let me start the car. any way i can disconnect the immobilizer and just use the key? managed to locate the actual alarm in the boot and disconnect it, need to move it before it gets moved!!!

hi lee, My problem is my central locking won't work.
Our probs are related.It's the immobileliser,You need to have key programmed to the stupid thing that cost's. I want to remove the thing myself but having probs finding info on wiring.if you get any info let me know cheers adrian
