Mend Hotpoint WD64 Not Working

Hotpoint WD64 not working?

I have a Hotpoint WD64 washer dryer. I pressed the on button and there was a small bang like a plug popping. There is now no power to the machine. I have changed the fuse in the plug but there is still no power. Does this mean the mother board is now faulty or could there be another problem?
