Thetford cassette toilet leaking inside caravan. Where could the leak be coming from. It is leaking from the flushing tank I think as when you fill flush it leaks. When flush empty leak stops. How can it be fixed ?

In the Thetford instructions they say you should empty the flush header tank before travelling. (Seems to defeat the object in a motorhome!) I am about to see if I can convert mine to get its supply from the pumped water supply, as it was in my previous 'van.

I have the same problem. With the tank full and moving the caravan we lost about 2 litres of water from the flushing tank which soaked the carpet and filled the area uner the waste tank with water.
