Hotpoint Aquarius 1000 de Luxe WM22 keeps stopping during cycle?
My Hotpoint Aquarius 1000 de Luxe WM22 keeps stopping during it's wash cycle. Pushing / Holding the door in make's it start up again.
Is this a problem with the door catch or is there a dorr catch sensor which might need replaced ? I've got an identical model (without this problem) to strip for spares !
Check the large white plug that connects to the motor. It uses IDC connector and the cables snap at the connection point. Just cut them back and reconnect by pushing the caqble over the slot on the top of thepin connector.

Changed interlock by detatching rubber seal and accessing through front aperture.
Now works a treat !
