i would check these first in this order
1. belt on and tight
2. brushes in motor not burnt out ( easy repair if competent diy,er
3. make sure sump not blocked at bottom of drum
i.e take of the big black pipe and clean ( easy job)
4. vacuum pipe take off spout not blocked with sludge,
awkward job best suit a mechanic or repairer( front off, undo front outer seal and you should see a plastic pipe held on with 3 screws on the lower right front side of the drum with a vacuum pipe connected to it. this usually stops it spinning if its blocked
