Tefal pro express problems?

Hello, my iron is throwing out brown/ gunge like fluid at odd times. Its not long since the filter was cleaned, and will do it again. My last one started to do this when it was on its way out! any other advice to try and save it please?

make sure that temperature is up. My experience is that if you have reduced the temperature and it is quite low, then try to use the steam it more often than not produces mucky silt which is difficult to remove from the laundry.

You need to de-scale the iron, and then set it to a low temperature and maximum steam output, and steam it over an old towel until it runs clear.
