Mend Mark Working Top

I have a large white cloudy mark on my working top ?

It is a cloudy white mark on the working top and it as gone very shiny where the mark is. If you wet the mark it goes back to normal colour but as soon as it drys it goes white. what is it and how can I get rid of it. It shows up really bad as my working tops are black.

So have I off a white china bowl taken out of the microwave after just 2 mins. I have asked and no one seems to know so I have used olive oil leave to soak in over night and wipe off . Mine is black aswell supplied from Howdens it was on a breakfast bar supposed to be quite tough!! Surely we are not the only ones this has happened to?
