Mend Vaillant VU 242 EW Combi Boiler Heating

How can i fix my biolers pilot Vaillant combi VU 242 EW?

I have 11 year old vaillant combi boiler and pilot light is gone off. It does not come on again . what could be wrong. How can I fix it and how much should it coast if I call the expert to fix it. Can I fix it my self.
