how can i get my hotpoint wd440 to spin stopped in middle of cycle?

my hotpoint washer dryer has stopped in the middle of cycle while washing towels the reduced crease light and also the on off button lights are flashing all the times. it also sounds to have a buzzing sound . HELP.The machine is just two and a half years old
