how do you bypass a programmer on a combi boiler?

is it possible to bypass the progammer on a "ideal" combi boiler to allow it to be operated manually.

Yes it is, either set the programmer to continuous or if it is the manual programmer, set all the tappets to the on position. There are two types of programmer. is yours with a digital display?
