Mend Jenn-Air W30400P Repair Appliance Oven

How do I put the handle on my Jenn-Air Oven?

My 3 year old son was kind enough to remove one end of the handle from my Jenn-Air (Model #W30400P) oven. I took it off entirely to keep it from being damaged. Now that it is off, I can see the sequence to re-attach it. The challenge is the screw is rattling around inside the handle. What is the correct way to remove the end caps without damaging them?
