Iveco Daily 2.3 hpi keeps cutting out?

Hi, have an Iveco Daily 35s12 2.3 hpi 05 reg, the problem I am having is it keeps cutting out and the red injector light flashes, it previously cut out on hills on the same spot everytime but now does it anywhere on flat drives half a mile when cold then cuts out, but after that it cuts out every 30 yards, I've seen a few people on here with similiar problems and wondering if anyone can help me and give me some ideas what it could be, also looking for someone who could tow it to Iveco I live in Harrogate, Cheers

hi all ive a 2006 2.3 hpi cut out intermittently like someone turned the key off if i switch it off and switch it on again it fires up no problem theres no pattern to it its the same if i floor it or have pedal half way any ideas ?

hi there just fixed an iveco cutting out showing a fuel pressure problem it was the fuel pump in the chassis main dealer only hope this helps you its a common fault

put up with same problem for 1 year. In the end all it was was a corroded crankshaft senor wire cost £2.25 to fix unfortuantly it took £300 to trace the problem. Get someone to read the onboard computer and it should come up saying crankshaft sensor error. Dont replace it ,first check the wire to it first . If its good replace the sensor. Steve

I have had the same problem for the past 2 years! and it ha been very bad at starting when cold!!
this week i got a diesel mechanic to do a bleed off test (about 10 mins) and it was instantly obvious what the problem was! i had an injector that needed replacing!
changed the injector and it is like a different motor!!
