how to find and clean the pump?

i have a whirlpool 6th sense washing machine and it keeps flashing red saying the pump needs cleaning. how do i find the pump and how do i clean it ???

remove the front lower kick panel in case the drain filter is blocked, clean the blockage if not blocked follow the drain hose back into the rear of the machine remove any panel that's in the way once removed should see pump, remove the pump ,then remove the pump body clean inside reassemble see if any improvement a replacement pump maybe required
