This may be some rubbish that's running at startup time...
You can try the following...
Click Start and select RUN
Enter msconfig in the text box and click OK
Select the Startup Tab on the window that appears and deselect everything that's checked with a tick - i.e remove the ticks.
Restart the machine - a box will talk about do you want to see this message again - say no.
I suspect that some unwanted software that's in the startup list may be broken because a file has gone missing or become corrupted and the error message is complaining about it. By taking everything out of the start list you machine will start quicker and you may solve the problem. It may be wise to run msconfig again and recheck any security related items like virus checkers etc.
Over time lots of rubbish entries end up in this start up list - stuff you had no idea about - and the machine takes longer and longer to start because of all the messing around it has to do before you can begin. You will not damage the machine by deselecting everything but it's wise to write down everything you deselect so you can get back to where you began if you need to.
Just guessing - good luck...
