how do i fix my washing machine?

i have an aquarius hotpoint wf321 120 spin washing machine and it is not working.whenever i put it on a programme it will work for a couple of minutes but then it stops and the on/off light and the wash enhance light flash on and off.the washing machine keeps making a noise though as if its working but it isnt.
