how do I change the water heater on my hotpoint wm76?

unplug the washer remove the top remove the drawer remove the 4 screws hloding the facia plate pull the time knob off move it to the right and it should come off remove the clip on the door gasket and release the door gasket from the front panel remove the three screws from the top of the fron panel and three from the bottom abd lift the panel to the right hand side you will see a cover about three inches long covering the heater terminals remove it and slacken the not off in the center of the heater do not remove the nut knock it in then prise the heater out reverse to rebuild
