Mend Bolens BL150 Bl Start Trimmer

Bolens BL 150 primer pump not working?

when I prepare to start my Bolens bl 150 grass trimmer the primer (bulb) is not working. When I depress the bulb to prime, it collapses and does not return to shape.
Hard time starting machine - just put in new spark plug cleaned spark arrestor when primer issue started.
