what is fault 5 ?

My washing machine won't spin it just has f5 flashing on it. I have lost my paperwork so have no idea what this means.It is a hotpoint ultima 1400 spin wt741.Your help will be appreciated thanks

i believe your fault f05 is the filter blocked you need to clean it out if you dont know where it is, it is behind the kickplate on the bottom of the machine on the right hand side my machine has done this fault a few times and again today but cleaning the filter seems to solve the problem. hope this helps
