How can I fix my Hotpoint VVXR1040T5WB washing machine?

My Hotpoint VVXR1040T5WB washing machine does not spin or pump water out. When it comes to the pump out cycle, all it does is sit there and hum.

sounds like its blocked,
take the bottom rear panel off and there should be a big black or grey pipe at the bottom of the drum,
take this apart to see if its clogged up easy job to start with,
make sure pump propellor isnt broken thats there as well

Hello,

It sounds like you have a problem with the drainout system. Checked for a kinked drain hose first. Then, check the hoses and pump for something obstructing the water flow.
