micra 998cc 2004?

i recently replaced the timing chain and all sprockets on this nissan micra and now the car does not run im just wondering if there is some kind of way that you are supposed too set the hydraulic vvt cam sproket up and also how it works if anybody knows. the car is not gettin any fuel injection but also will not run with easy start altho my diagnostic equipment assures me it has a spark so if anybody can help please do because not even my local nissan dealer could provide info on it
