Door won't close properly on Hotpoint BF1260 Dishwasher??

sorry, when i say the bezel, i mean the control panel with the timer in ( normally plastic ) the lock is inside behind the bezel, the spring normal breaks, if this has happen then you will have to replace the interlock assy or if not you may be able to click the lock open ( with the door open you should be able to see the slot at the top of the door - get two small flat bladed screw drivers and try to hook the catch and pull towards you, this will save you time, otherwise you will have't to take the bexel and front door metal outer panel off to get access. if interlock is u/s they are a cheap part. hope this helps
