I find that there is a gap in the rubber by the door that gets full of water and mouldy. Try cleaning this out with mild soap and then running the machine on a hot wash with your usual detergent. (some people run it empty, although I tend to put something in it of no consequence such as a hanky).

This is usually due to constantly using the cool wash cycles. This allows bacteria to breed causing the machiene to "smell" All you usually need to do is to use a boil wash cycle evey so often to sterilise the machiene and kill of the bacteria causing the smell. Hope this helps.
