Mend Kenmore 90 Washing Machine Motor Agitator

Kenmore series 90 washer?

Ours made a loud pop and quit spinning. I have tried to remove the motor/gearcase assy, but it wont give. I removed the 3 bolts and the 2 clamps, I can spin the unit around but cannot get it to pull free. If the motor shaft is bolted to the agitator, I do not see any bolts in the top of the agitator, Just a spring loaded plastic coupler or what ever it is.Any help ?

you must remove the plastic piece on the agitator (counter clockwise) and below it is a bolt, remove that and it should come free.
