Vauxhall Zafira '06, car won't lock?

The car sounds the reminder as if you have left the lights on or keys in the ingnintion.
The remote locking don't work, I have changed the batteries in the remote ignition key, and still no life.
Any suggestions as a little worried I cannot lock the boot etc

This has just happened to me also exact same and my stereo doesnt auto switch off either. And none of the garages are open till monday round here.
