Rear passenger door wont openon my vauxhall zafira 2006 model?

Had same with my 56reg zafira, main dealers quoted me a possible £800, I went to Paul Graingers thanet body repairs Ramsgate, they did an excellent job and sorted the problem out for just £74 parts plus 2 hours labour.

im having the same probs. i can open it on the drivers side but not passanger side. any help would be good as wont pass mot if all doors cant be opened from outside.. :(

i have the same problem passengers back door used to open fine then stoped but you could open it from the inside now it wont open at all help its a pain getting 5 kids through 1 door with car seats

did anyone figure this out mine is 2003 model stuck shut central locking not working just on this door (rear offside) removed door card but still cannot open it to access wiring between the door and car as i supspect thats the fault as it has broke before but not jammed door shut!

Hi, Common fault on these cars,caused by a broken wire.
Pull back the rubber sheath at the bottom of the B pillar and the rear door check the yellow and black wire and the
thick brown wire (earth), best repaired by joining a short piece of wire between the broken ends,solder it if you can.

Hi, i removed door panel, and the lock seems to work!, i put it all back together and it plays up? when i lock the car it all locks ok, unlock and it dont work, i opened the front passenger door, then lock the doors while its open, and i can open the rear door from the inside? Apparently its a common fault which exists in the B Post wiring, Vauxhall are conning sods, and i wont be using them!!

No answer i'm afraid, but I have exactly the same problem. I have managed to remove the internal door panel but there doesn't seem to be any method to remove the locking mechanism, I have taken it to a Vauxhall dealership and thy wan't to charge me about £400 pounds, which I think is a bit steep...

If you find an answer let me know, in the mean time i'm taking out screws but it's all looking hopeless...
