is there an easy way to change the cig lighter/sat nav power socket ?

try getting the panel off , and see it it will come out that way , if not try running two wires inside the car from the battery. and wire it up that way . you might be able to get the wires through the dask"some were that you cant see them . and out of the way . it will take power from the battery , only when you have the gps pluged in , but you will have the car running then , make sure when your are wireing it up to the batt, that your car radio dont have codes in it, or you might not be able to get your radio back on again if you dont have the codes for it ...
