Accenta6 Can't get rid of tamper light?

Hi. Have just followed the advise I can see re Accenta6.
Got a new battery fitted it then:
Mains off
disconnect a battery lead
Mains on
Put in code (keypad bleeps as I do this and it appears to accepts code as alarm also stops sounding)
reconnect battery lead
press reset.

When it comes to pressing reset, they keypad doesn't appear to be doing anything as it doesn't bleep like normal.

Now I have power light on and tamper light on also. Keypad appears to be inactive as it doesn't bleep when I press keys.
Please advise what I should do next.
