Mend Ford Fiesta 1998 Reg

what does AFM stand for?

i just put an after market air induction kit on my 1998 R reg ford fiesta with AFM. What does AFM stand for coz there is a pulg what went in to the old air intake and i have no where to put it on the new air intake can you help?

Hi Lee, AFM = Air Flow Meter the electrical connector that went to your original air filter box was for the Air Inlet Temp sensor, you will need to retain this for the injection system to work correctly, the sensor is easily removed from the flter box just turn it 1/4 turn and pull it out, then refit the connector and secure it near the battery
