Mend MTD 136-698 Wiring Mtd Riding

Need wiring diag. for MTD 136-698 DO 19 EO24B LT 11/38 Agway?

Agway riding lawnmower about 1986 or 1987. 11 HP. 38" Blade
Will start by jumping across the solenoid, but not by the starter switch. I'm thinking I have a short in the wiring. I need the wiring diagram to make sure everything is the way it is suppose to be. Bought it this way.

you need to replace the solenoid. just did it myself with my 18hp Agway. $8 at advance auto parts.
