Mend Electrolux ESI 602 Dishwasher Pump Noise

Electrolux ESI 602 dishwasher, no water in and humming noises?

When I switch my dishawasher on it comes on and starts the washing process, releases the soap but when the pump is supposed to start pumping water it the machine just hums... You can also hear water moving around the inside of it sometimes.

If I fiddle with the lock so i can see inside when it's on.... and by turning the dial around, every now and again the water will come through and you can hear it gurgling.

Just before it stopped working it started making a loud hollow noise if that's any help also!

Having the same issue - removed the side and there is some black marking in the bottom right plus what looks like a large area of rust coloured water in a compartment in the middle.

Have removed all the screws but cannot see how to releae the tank - still attached somewhere.

Any ideas??

Buy a new one ;)

remove the left hand side panel as you look from the front and down the side is a large tank (iwms).look at the bottom and you might find it's black and mouldy which can cause no fill issues
