How do you clean a microwave that a badly burned food item left a smell?

My son burned a large pretzel trying to reheat it. THe microwave now has a strong burn odor and yellowed on the inside?

I heard you can put a cup of water mixed with lemon juice in the microwave for 2 minutes (so it's boiling) to get rid of the smell.
