nokia 6310i will not ring out, tried changing profile no joy, the word silence appears at the bottom left of screen whilst being called.

Try to ring your phone. if the call does not get through then the phone is barred. you can use it as a doorstopper.

go into settings, select restore factory settings, and enter the password, which unless you've changed it should be 12345.
