digimate L-1918 FAULTY?

my monitor refuses to start up the switch starts green and the screen lights up then the start button changes to orange and the screen goes black??

I had a similar problem and found that the digital signal from the video pcb to the invertor pcb was switching off after a couple of seconds. Tried to get some info from Digimate but found them to be a waste of time and not at all helpful - so I purchased a monitor from a different manufacturer.
