Hello,
It sounds like your defrost drain is plugged up with ice. Try locating where the drain hose is. Sometimes they are in the back of the fridge section with a little cup attached to them and sometimes they are just a hole under the freezer floor. Once you locate the drain tube just flush it out with hot water using a turkey baister is good for that. Hope this helps.
