digimate L-1918 monitor?

the monitor start green light comes on but flashes on/off and makes a clicking noise but the screen stays blank,i am a retired pc repair "internetreadysystems"in cheshire but my knowledge of repairing a monitor is zero, can you help please or sell me what ever it needs to repair it myself as you prefer kind regards ron
