I have a 1999 BMW 328i. When I press the unlock button on the key, only the driver side button unlocks. I tried to start it and the hazards go off, the lights on the dashboard flash and the car makes a clicking sound. Do I just need to replace the battery.
Yes you may well need a new battery. To test if this is the case use some jump leads to another car (make sure correctly connected and to the special earth point) and see if BMW starts as normal.
