Kenmore ultra wash model 665.1601 clean light flashes?

THANK YOU! MERCI! GRACIAS! GRACIE! XIE XIE! DANKA! Your solutions were perfect. A year ago I had the flashing light problem and Sears came and installed a $15 part (a "clip") for the door + service charge. Recently it happened again. I plugged in the model number on internet just to find out how old my unit was to determine whether to purchase a new one. Then I found your solutions!! I was stunned. I did Hi Temp Wash, Heated Dry, Hi Temp Wash, Heated Dry, Cancel. BINGO! Sometimes you have to play with the different buttons. I called Sears to cancel my repair appointmend and asked them why they didn't tell me to try that. They said something like, well, you don't have a service contract. (!?)
