Mend Kenmore 110.29882890 Series Machine

Kenmore series 80 washing machine m\n 110.29882890 won't agitate or spin?

Machine makes a rapid clicking noise during spin cycle and makes the same noise in the wash cycle too.
I unplugged the washer while it was running and it made a winding sort of clicking noise as it slowed to a stop.

I read at another site that this model seems to have a clutch assembly kit that may fix the problem. The bearings and\or clutch assembly on the direct drive motor wear out and the motion inside the washer stops. I only know because i seem to be having the same problem. I still would like a pro to look at it so I don't order unnecessary parts.
