Mend Philips Stopped Changed Fuse

How to fix my Philips iron?

Hi,
My Philips iron has just completely stopped working. It is the 3rd one to do this in a row (never buying again unless I can fix) and we have changed the fuse and checked the cable etc but still doesn't work. Please can anyone help?

They don't design and make irons to be repairable any more - if you can find a reliable repair channel then you have the makings of a sure-fire business enterprise but with very low profits. Labour + parts + shipping probably exceed the cost of a new iron.
