Mend Kenmore Elite Worked Couple Years

kenmore elite microwave?

I have a kenmore elite microwave. It worked great for a couple of years but isn't heating very well now. I removed the top cover from inside the microwave and discovered a two bladed metal piece. I think it's suppose to rotate. After removing it I can see a four sided hollow shaft spinning inside while running. Should this be turning the blades?

I figured it out. It's suppose to turn. I also mended the hole in the cover with non-conductive material so food won't get in again.
