washing machine stuck in cycle?

hi,

i have a Hotpoint Ultima WM75 Washing Machine.

yesterday the Spin Cycle would not come up to speed, and returned the error refer to manual.

from previous experinence, i suspected the brushes were worn.

on inspection they were worn and changed out.

the machine was run on light load, and spin cycle appears to be ok.

the machine was run on light load, and when spinning up after 1st wash/drain cycle, teh display went blank. when the machine run down the display returned to normal, on rinse cycle1. after rinse complete, machine spun up, dispaly balnk etc, then returned to sinse cycle 1 again.
it appears that the machine is stuck mid cycle.
any adv ise appreciated.
