mine did not crack but is very worn and stained. How do i get rid of stains and apply a new clear finish

November 2008 mine cracked aswell from the drain hole right across the bowl. It seems that these asterite sinks are not made up to standard. I dont expect to pay all that money to have the thing split and also damage my kitchen cupboards.

Yes mine cracked too - on Christmas Eve - from the drain hole outwards - leaking - not popular! I used twin pack epoxy resin - on both inside and underneath - after degreasing the sink and using thinners - also not popular! Seems to be okay although resin repair now discoloured.

Our sink cracked also in both sinks along the drain. We now have to replace that section of the drain. I think it was the hot water we poured when drained pasta and cooked vegetables. Bought in 1994. If I cant find the part, I will ask the same store if they have a display model in back that they arent using and maybe they can get the part from there.

I have the same problem & like to know if you fixed yours?
I thought of using 'super glue' & reinforcing underneath with layers of fibre-glass resin
