Mend Renault Laguna Radio Problem

Renault Laguna Radio Problem! PLEASE help!?

How do you actually enter the coded into the Lguna Radio? I have a 2000 Laguna and had to replace the battery. I have the code but can't figure out how to enter it. Every button I press results in the radio beeping at me!

This is the same radio found in most of the new Lagunas. I think it's a Philips cd/radio.

Chris is right - using button 6 worked for me to get the code entered.

When I needed to put the code in for my radio, i used the number buttons 1-4 for each number, i.e. code 1234 press button 1 once, button 2 twice button 3 three times and button 4 four times.

Once the code showed correct, i pressed the number 6 to enter the code.
