Mend Toshiba 37REGZA37 No Power Red LED

Possible reason please?

My Toshiba Regza 37, will not turn on. There is a red led light on the front of the tv which is on, but if I press the standby button on the remote or on the front of the tv, nothing happens. I have tried changing remote batteries, still nothing.
