my laptop wont power up what should i do?

my samsung R60 laptop wont power up on the mains or battery when i push the power button the blue power light just flashes and goes off, i had proplems with it before it kept cutting out but it came back on after restarting it. now it will not come on at all. the battery says its fully charged. any ideas whats wrong with it and how i can fix it? thank you (:
