Mend Neptune Regal Keep Switching Off

Why does my Neptune shower keep switching itself off?

I have an electric Neptune shower and after about 5 minutes the shower completely switches itself off and I have to leave it for at least 10 minutes before it will start again. Also, the water is very often boiling hot in there and no matter how much i turn the dial the temperature will not change.

Please help!
