Hi all, I have a 1997 Ford Transit, and I recently changed all the locks.. the ignition had been loose since I had..brought a full new set off e-bay.. on fitting the ignition lock.. which was without a chip in the key. I cut through the hoop on my immobiliser (didnt realise it was part of it).. now the van wont start.. I have heard that the immobilisers on these vans can be bypassed.. does anybody know how this is done.. many thanks...Leo
Hi we think we have burnt out imobilser as battery shorted out and box under dash has burnt out and it wont start or run any more and ford say that partis no longer available can you help thanks

the hoop on my 1994 transit just fell apart same problem put another on didnt work 100 pound to replace cant bypass them

did you ever find the answer? i need to know how to do this on an 1800 ford fiesta diesel.... it seems there are 3 wires controlling the immobiliser on the pump...
