Mend Ryobi Trimmer Choke

trimmer will start on full choke switch to semi-choke stops?

my trimmer will start on full choke but when i move the switch to semi-choke it will run for 5 seconds at high rpms then shuts down. How to fix?
After researching on net, this is a common problem with most Ryobi models.
