i would like to know if there is a place to insert a pin to hold the piston at top dead center The car is atoyota corolla gds estate 1997

Hi Sid,
No locking pin to hold crankshaft, but you could remove the starter motor and jam a large screwdriver into the flywheel ring gear to hold it
